About Me

Hello! My name is Ema, and I am an English teacher from Los Angeles, California, currently based in Portugal.

I hold a TEFL certificate from Trinity College London and have over 8 years of experience teaching English as a second language, with a focus on conversational classes for children.

With a patient and enthusiastic approach, my aim is to help every student discover their own confidence in English.

I believe the best way for a child to learn a language is through natural, enjoyable conversation rather than memorising grammar rules.

Every student receives a personalized approach, with materials and activities tailored to their level, interests and learning style – because no two learners are the same!

My classes are conducted online via Google Meet, making it easy and convenient for families anywhere in the world.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy surfing, gardening and making the most of life on the beautiful Portuguese coast.
